Give feedback – and you could win!
If a Westlea tradesperson completes a repair job in your home, you will be given a feedback card. Please complete this and send it back to us as your feedback helps us further improve the service we provide to you. And, as an added incentive, we hold a £50 prize draw every month for all those who return a feedback card.

Aids and adaptations reminder
Westlea residents can apply for assistance in carrying out adaptations to their home if they are needed because of a disability. We can help you through the process of applying for a means-tested Disabled Facilities Grant from Wiltshire Council. We also have our own budgets for installing level access showers, hand rails, motorised scooter stores, and hardstandings. However, funding is limited and is available on a first come first served basis. For further information on how we might be able to assist you or a disabled friend or relative, please call Shirley Davis or Jo Taylor on 01249 466061.

Out of hours responsive repairs
Do you have problems arranging for repair work to be carried out? Do you hate taking time off work to allow us access to carry out small repairs? If your answer to these questions is yes, then you’ll be interested in this new service we are trying out in Chippenham.

We are offering an out-of-hours service on a Wednesday evening for small plumbing and carpentry jobs. There will be four appointments available each Wednesday (from 4.30pm up to 7pm) for both plumbing and carpentry and these will be limited on a first come first served basis.“Some residents have told us that they find it difficult to take time off work to allow us to carry out minor repairs,” says Simon Watson, Customer Repairs Manager. “We have limited this trial to the Chippenham customers to see how popular this service is, and may roll it out to the rest of our customers later in the year if it proves successful.” For more information on this service or to make an appointment please ring the Westlea Repairs Helpline on 01249 466100.
