Westlea and Connaught
end contract


Westlea Housing Association and Connaught have agreed to end their agreed current commercial contract arrangement following a review of planned maintenance works.

Connaught has concluded it is unable financially to deliver its recognised high levels of service and quality. By mutual agreement Connaught will undergo a managed phasing out of planned maintenance works for Westlea over the next three months.

The five-year contract involves the delivery of cyclical repair and improvement works to around 1,900 homes and commenced May 2007. Customers affected will be contacted by Westlea shortly and further details will appear in the September edition of the residents' magazine 'HOME'. Every effort is being made to keep any disruption or delay to a minimum.
