How we are going to make things better in Potley & Pockeridge

  • We will maintain our partnership with Barnardo’s who provide individual support for families, as well as arranging activities and services for children.
  • We will continue to work closely with the Neighbourhood Police Team and Wiltshire Council to tackle antisocial behaviour, to help improve community safety.
  • We will continue to work with Carers Support North Wiltshire who provide support, advice, information and opportunities to people who have caring responsibilities for a relative, neighbour or friend.
  • We have set up a scheme with North Wiltshire Citizens Advice Bureau and we have a dedicated project worker who will help you claim all the benefits available to you and help you manage your debt problems.
  • We want to make sure that our neighbourhoods are good places to live and we have a set of neighbourhood standards that tell you how we will deal with the issues that you’ve told us really matter.
  • We will continue to work in partnership with the Potley and Pockeridge Community Association and Youth Action Wiltshire to improve the provision of activities for young people, including two new structured youth groups.
  • We will continue our support of the local community allotment project and will work in partnership with residents and the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust.
