Coleman’s Farm
At the end of each section of the survey residents were asked whether there was anything else they would like to tell us. This is a summary of comments made:
The residents were asked whether they noticed any improvement with regards to their home and neighbourhood over the last 12 months:

9 residents are pleased with the planters in the area.

6 residents have noticed an improvement in rubbish/litter; the whole area is looking good.

The residents have noticed a good difference in the communal areas - grass is cut more regularly.
The residents were asked whether there was anything else they would like to tell us about the neighbourhood:

5 residents are concerned about noisy neighbours disrupting the neighbourhood.

4 residents have mentioned trees and bushes are overgrown and need cutting back on a regular basis.

12 residents are concerned about the number of youths hanging around, drinking, smoking, taking drugs, and riding motor cycles on the pavements.

The residents would like more parking spaces for themselves.

There is a need for more litter bins

6 residents are concerned about the increase in traffic.
Residents were asked what activities/facilities for children they would like to see provided for children and young people on the estate:
- 5 residents would like to see more play areas and skate parks for all ages.

10 residents would like youth clubs, sports facilities, cinema, boxing and judo clubs.
The residents were asked whether they had any other comments about crime and safety:

5 residents are concerned about lack of police presence and slow responses from the police when called to deal with youths.

2 residents are concerned about the amount of drug dealing going on in the area.

More lighting in the area needed

1 resident has asked for fire instructions in the block of flats because there is no clear understanding of what to do in an emergency.
