ACCOMMODATION: 
The Wharf has 25 one-bedroom flats, seven two-bedroom flats, three two-bedroom houses and one three-bedroom house. All properties are of a good size and offer a private kitchen, lounge, dining room, bathroom, bedroom and hallway. Ground floor flats have small manageable private gardens with patio door access. A guest room is provided for use by visiting friends or relatives.

SHARED FACILITIES: 

A comfortable communal lounge is the location for most social activities. There is also a shower room on the ground floor with grab rails, non slip mats, shower chair and lifeline pullcord. A garden area, at the front of The Wharf, is for the use of all tenants and car parking is provided at the rear. The well-equipped laundry room has washing machines and tumble dryers. A well-maintained bin store area is provided for communal use.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES: 
Tenants enjoy regular social activities including coffee mornings, bingo and a 'knit and natter' session. The social committee, run by tenants, organises events and excursions based on suggestions from other tenants.


LOCAL AMENITIES:
The Wharf is situated close to Calne town centre and opposite the new library; there is a regular bus service to the town. A doctors’ surgery is situated next door to the scheme, with a chemist nearby. The Wharf is also served by daily deliveries of milk, post and newspapers. There is a daily postal collection from the scheme. A ‘meals on wheels’ service can be arranged by request.
