Parklands consists of 25 studio apartments, six flats and four bungalows. A guest flat is provided for use by visiting friends or relatives.

Tenants in the scheme enjoy regular social activities including Bingo, coffee mornings and afternoon tea. A series of summer trips is organised each year for residents and their friends.

There is a post office and shopping facilities within easy walking distance. A trip to the local Safeway superstore is organised monthly.
