ACCOMMODATION: 
Hooks Hill has eighteen single flats, five double flats and two studio apartments. Each flat has a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. A guest flat is provided for use by visiting friends or relatives.

SHARED FACILITIES: 
The communal lounge offers a panoramic view. A laundry room has a washing machine and tumble dryer with ironing facilities. 

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES: 
Tenants in the scheme enjoy regular social activities including coffee mornings and afternoon tea. Parties and outings are also organised from time to time. A Women's Fellowship group meets every month at the scheme.

LOCAL AMENITIES:
Purton has plenty to offer residents of Hooks Hill: the village has a post office and quite a few shops as well as a library, dentist, chemist and large doctors surgery. A church and chapel are also nearby. A bus service operates to all of the major local towns - Swindon, Bath, Marlborough and Wootton Bassett - and a regular free bus to the Asda superstore is provided. ‘Meals on wheels’ is active in the village, and a luncheon club runs in the local Silver Threads Hall.
